2020 Achievements

Despite the chaotic times, this year we have been able to achieve some great things:

• Held first official JEC NYC event with Chris Barrett, Cornell Professor, July 9th

• Held our first forum, the 2020 Summer Forum July 30th with Rebecca Patterson, Nancy Shaft, Valisha Graves, and Sheara Fredman

• Held our first Investment Competition from August to October

• Introduced the JEC NYC Junior Economist in September

• Held our first interview with Mark Cuban

• Introduced High Returns tutoring initiative in November

• 15+ events with over 20 speakers

• Representing 35+ high schools

• 300+ Instagram followers

• 10+ articles published in the Junior Economist
