CIS 303 High Returns Program

This past week, JEC implemented our first High Returns Session to the CIS 303 Leadership and Community Service Academy. The High Returns Program aims to foster financial literacy in middle school students, providing them with fundamental knowledge that is often overlooked in their primary education. Over five days, the students learned foundational concepts of spending, borrowing, protecting, earning, and investing through engaging presentations and games. We ended our session on Friday with bingo and certificates for the students to showcase everything they had learned.

For this session we had two of our board members carry out the curriculum at the school, and are already planning out more sessions with other schools in the New York City area. We are excited for our members to lead a series of financial literacy workshops and hope you’ll join us for the next session of High Returns!
