Sandeep Jain is the Managing Director and Head of Quantitative Research at SMBC. He has over 25 years of expertise in quantitative analytics and worked at UBS for 16 years, holding titles such as Global Head of Rates Quants and Global head of FX, Rates & Credit Quants. Prior to UBS, he worked in Derivative Products Group at Wachovia Securities. He has a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering (Applied Mathematics) and is also an Adjunct Professor at NYU Tandon teaching Machine Learning in Finance.

Katherine Bell is the Executive Editor at Bloomberg. She has a distinguished career in financial journalism. After pursuing her Bachelor’s in English at Yale and her MFA at the University of Iowa, Katherine worked at Harvard Business Review for nearly 10 years. She then held the position of Editor in Chief at Barron’s, Quartz, and Goldman Sachs.
