After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University and receiving an academic award on Value Investing from Columbia Business School, Orina started a career in private equity and hedge fund investing where she amassed 20 years of institutional investment experience. She moved to Morgan Stanley in 2016 to help high net worth families and professionals manage their wealth. Orina has developed a unique approach to risk management from her experience in institutional investing. She believes that a properly defined investment time horizon, rather than reducing volatility, is a better way to manage portfolio risk without sacrificing potential returns unnecessarily.
